Welcome to our website! R & H Tomlinson Ltd are a family-run waste management recycling company which has been trading since 1948 (originally in steel). In July 2003 we moved from an old derelict coal yard to our present location which is ideal for our purposes of aiding businesses to reduce their carbon footprint.

Our aim is to reclaim all recoverable materials possible during the process of waste disposal for the sake of the environment's health. As such we are fully licensed and recommended by the Environment Agency to operate the recycling of all waste material and we have recently established a picking station for the recycling of wood, plastics, papers and aggregates.

We believe we offer a superior service to that of our competitors as we will take full responsibility for all the handling, sorting, separating and disposing of our customers waste and will from that point on be accountable for its proper management.

We are currently in the process of putting in a licensed on-site incinerator for materials that can’t be recycled although we anticipate a level of 95% recycling which will minimise the need for its use.

We are also a D.T.I. authorised treatment facility for end-of-life vehicles and can deal in the recycling/purchase of all ferrous materials, non-ferrous materials and batteries.
